Peelander Yellow performed a concert Sunday, May 1 for a Golden Yellow Week Celebration hosted by the Austin-Oita Sister City Committee and Texas Sake.

The free event was held in conjunction with Golden Week, a weeklong national spring celebration in Japan that contains multiple holidays.

Attendees participated in a community art project with Peelander Yellow, a member of the Japanese action comic punk band Peelander Z, in a Hands of Austin art collaboration to be sent to Oita, Japan.
